Itinerary

  • Bayeux

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
Once we pick you up in the Bayeux or Caen area, expect a 45 to 60 minutes drive to Falaise, our first stop.
  • Falaise

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
It was in Falaise, at the heart of Normandy, that the illustrious local figure of William the Conqueror was born in 1027. The ducal castle, where he was born and around which the town expanded in the Middle Ages, is the emblem of the town. Perched on a rocky crag, the imposing fortress and listed historic monument was built from the 10th century onwards. You can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the period, with its three keeps and ramparts flanked by towers, models of war machines and other weapons of the time, as well as its new exhibition based on 3D digital technologies, which takes visitors back in time through 1,000 years of history.
  • Caen

    4 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
Caen is well known thanks to the remains of historical buildings built during the time of William the Conqueror. The city was the location of his favourite residence and he was buried here in the town which he loved, together with his wife. We will visit William's castle, the Lady's Abbey where his wife Mathilda is buried, and the Men's Abbey where William is buried.
  • Bayeux

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
Visit the Bayeux Tapestry (audio-guide with an extensive presentation by your guide beforehand). The Bayeux Tapestry is one of the world’s most famous pieces of medieval art.
