- Departure from Bogotá - Drive up through the Eastern Mountains to La Calera (1.5 hours) - Meet your local guide and set up for the ride - Horseback riding through scenic mountain trails (1.5 hours) - Try out a home made "canelazo" (a hot sugarcane tea) 30 min - Drive back to Bogotá (1.5 hours) - This tour does NOT include time for lunch Please note: This is a group activity and you MAY or MAY NOT be joined by other travelers at any point during the tour. Everyone joining this tour MUST wear a helmet in order to climb on the horse and keep it on at all times. Failure to wear a helmet is a safety violation and will cause the cancellation of the tour without refunds. All last minute bookings (within 24 hours of departure) requesting a bilingual service will be accepted while we confirm the English-speaking guide availability. If we are unable to find a guide 12 hours before departure, the tour will be offered in Spanish only.
