Highlights

Gunung Mulu National Park is a protected rainforest in Malaysian Borneo. It’s known for its dramatic peaks and caves, including the huge, bat-filled Deer Cave. The cave leads to the Garden of Eden, a hidden valley and waterfall enclosed by limestone cliffs. The Pinnacles at Gunung Api are tall, jagged limestone formations with steep trails and rare orchids. The summit of Gunung Mulu Mountain has views over the park.

Itinerary

ARRIVAL: MULU NATIONAL PARK / LANG’S & DEER CAVES / BAT EXODUS

    Upon arrival Mulu Airport, transfer to your choice of accommodation for check in.

  • Mulu World Heritage Area

    Afternoon, meet at resort lobby and transfer to Mulu National Park headquarters for registration and proceed on plank walk for 3 KM to reach Lang’s Cave & Deer Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening (Only confine to fine weather). Return journey on the same plank walk to park headquarters and transfer back to your accommodation.

Continue journey by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts and later on you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater spring.

  • Camp 5, Mulu National Park

    Late afternoon transfer to Kuala Litut, then jungle trek for 3 hours to Camp 05. Dinner and overnight at Camp 05.
