Highlights

Only happens once in a year! It's time to witness this magical ceremony again in Shifen Old Street. 
This join-in will take you to the charming Jiufen Old Street first, where you can enjoy the view or take a sip of the local tea.
Then we will be heading to Shifen old Street for the main purpose of the tour today!
Travelers will write down your wishes on the sky lanterns to release into the sky afterwards. At the scheduled time, everyone will be letting go the sky lanterns together, which will create a fascinating scenery and leave an unforgettable memory.



The tour duration will be adjusted according to the traffic situation on the day. Please consider your booking if you have any concerns.
A sky lantern will be shared between 4 people.

    Depart from Taipei towards Jiufen on this special Sky Lantern Festival occurring once a year. Wander in the lanes of Jiufen Old Street, feel free to have a taste of local tea in the tea houses or have a bite of the delicious sticky herbal cake!

  • Shifen Old Street

    Shifen, get ready for the Sky Lantern Festival that is annually held here, and is increasingly getting recognized globally as a key international folklore event. Seize the opportunity to write wishes on the sky lantern, shared with others, before lighting up a candle and releasing it up to the sky. Don't forget to capture the moment with your camera as it sets off.

  • Raohe Street Night Market

    1 minsAdmission Ticket Free
    Raohe Street Night Market is one of the most popular night markets in Taipei. This will be the drop-off point for join-in tour. Please note there'll be no guide at this attraction.
