This afternoon, you will head out of town explore Baisha village including Baisha Wall Mural. Baisha Village is located about 16 km north of Lijiang. The village is known for its interesting wall murals and statues of ancient figures and a little quieter than Lijiang. Spend some time in the local market interacting with local people.

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to admire the awe-inspiring views of the Tiger Leaping Gorge. This is one of the deepest canyons in the world and the sight of the 3900m mountain wall are breathtaking, as they drop from the snow-capped tops of Haba Shan to the cool gushing waters of Shinsha River, The Tiger Leaping Gorge is considered to be one of the most spectacular natural wonders in all of China. You will start the hike at Qiaotou, where you will leave your large backpacks behind and take only the most essentials. After a slow and steady climb, you reach the 28 bends (the most challenging part of the trek), a steep and twisting path gaining some altitude and offering breath-taking views. Today's hike is about 6 hours long but it is rewarding.
