Using tea leaves from Shizuoka Prefecture, which boasts the largest production in Japan, guests can experience brewing their own tea in a kyusu (teapot). By learning the technique of tea brewing, you can easily incorporate it into your daily life from now on. Lectures will be given by a tea master who holds Japan's highest tea certification, "Japanese Tea Instructor". The lecture will be held at a long-established ryokan with a long history.

Organic matcha from Kyoto, a traditional tea production area, is used and guests can experience making matcha themselves with a tea whisk. By learning the technique of making matcha tea, you can easily incorporate it into your daily life from now on. Highlights

Japanese Tea Shop HATOHA is run by a tea master whose family roots are in the tea business that has been operating for over 150 years in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan's largest tea-producing region. The tea master has obtained Japan's highest tea certification, "Japanese Tea Instructor".

Ito Ryokan, the venue for the experience plan, is a long-established ryokan with a history of over 70 years, located in Nihonbashi Ningyocho near the center of Tokyo. It is also popular among foreign guests.

By learning the technique of making Japanese tea, you can easily incorporate it into your daily life from now on. With two kinds of drinks and two kinds of sweets, you will be sure to be satisfied.

This experience is different from the traditional "tea ceremony". You will learn how to brew tea in the traditional Japanese style using a teapot and leaf tea such as sencha.
This experience is intended for those who are 12 years old or older.
The price shown is for one person.
Please be punctual as the event starts and ends on time. Please notify us on the day of the event if you have any food allergy concerns.
Smoking is not permitted in the entire building.
No parking is available.
The hotel is not barrier-free.
If any of the tea utensils are damaged, you will be charged for the cost of the tea utensils.
The tea ceremony involves the use of boiling water. We will not be responsible for any injuries that may occur.
