    Cachi is a small town in the Calchaquí Valley, in northwestern Argentina, known for its adobe houses and white colonial buildings. In the center is the Iglesia San José, a Spanish colonial church declared a national historic monument. Nearby is the Museo Arqueológico de Cachi Pío Pablo Días, which exhibits artifacts found in local excavations, some dating back 10,000 years. In the northwest, there are the mountains of Nevado de Cachi, whose peaks, up to 6380 mts. above sea level are covered with snow and can be seen from the town. The main square shines for its cleanliness and order.
