Afternoon: Driving 1.5 hour to Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Huanglongxi has a history of 1,700 years , located in the southwest edge of Shuangliu County, it about 42 kilometers away from Chengdu city. In 2005,the National Environmental Protection Agency named it is the national "Beautiful Town".

Before 8am, the driver 吳燕has arrived at my hotel lobby. She is very friendly, explaining the destination on our way and also recommend what to see and where to eat. Both places I visit are very recommended. Panda Base is lovely, although it is quite crowded. Be sure to wear comfy clothing and shoes as a lot of walking is required (I walk more than 10km here). Be sure to apply lots of sunscreen also as the weather is very hot Huanglongxi Ancient Town is also lovely, where we can see the locals play water, reminding me of Songkran Festival in Thailand. A visit to the local tea house here is also recommended All in all, great applause to 吳燕 for making the visit dan the day beautifully enjoyable Top notch driver and guide indeed
