Set amidst Hokkaido's Onuma Quasi-National Park, the Hakodate Onuma Segway
Tour promises its visitors a unique and exciting exploration of the region.
Established in July 1958 as the 13th quasi-national park in Japan and the sole
one in southern Hokkaido, this park is made up of 9,083 hectares of scenic
beauty, spanning the regions of Nanae-cho Kameda-gun, Shikabe-cho Kayabe-gun,
and Mori-machi.


While journeying on your Segway, you'll ride through lush grasslands, and
birch and oak forests. You might even spot native creatures such as Ezo flying
squirrels and red foxes! The moderately wild trails cater to both novice and
seasoned riders, and your experienced guide will not only assist you with the
Segway but also share intriguing facts about this remarkable region.

  • Age: 16 to 70 (If joining by minors only, we ask a guardian to fill out the consent form in advance.)
  • Weight: 45 kg to less than 118 kg (including clothing and luggage)
  • Able to communicate smoothly with tour guides in Japanese.
  • Cooperate in safe operation and follow the instructions of the tour guide.
  • Not under the influence of alcohol or pregnant. No difficulty in walking. There are no obstacles that hinder driving.
  • No pets or infants. (* Segway is a single-ride.)
Reminders
Please arrive at designated location 10 mins prior to departure, as tour will depart on time
Please be sure to wear a helmet during the tour (free rental on the day)
Please be sure to attend the training conducted by the tour organizer on the day
To avoid trouble riding, please participate in good health condition both physically and mentally
If the tour guide determines that safety cannot be ensured for any reason, we may refuse participation in the tour or cancel or suspend the tour
For safety, taking photos and videos while riding is prohibited unless you have permission. Photos will be taken by the guide and shared after the tour
Equipment, guides, and other circumstances may cause to cancel the tour suddenly. (No cancellation fee will be charged if the event is canceled due to operational reasons)
Depending on how the tour progresses, the end time may be extended by up to 30 minutes. Please plan your schedule after the tour with extra time
The event will be held in light rain. In the case of rain or bad weather, the local guide will make a decision about the event two hours in advance. In the event of bad weather, including rain, that may impede safe driving, the tour may be postponed or canceled at our discretion
To the extent that it is determined that the cancellation is due to weather conditions or other reasons, we will notify you of the cancellation using the phone number or email address you registered in advance, and will issue a refund or reschedule
