Day 06. > Sasan Gir Besides Africa, Gir National Park in Gujarat is the only place in the world where you can see lions roaming freely in the wild. Gir Resarvat is known for Asiatic kind of lions but there are also different kinds of animals that are also in the reserve. After breakfast drive to Mandvi and visit a Jain Temple before Mandvi. After that you can drive to Vijay Vilas Palace and visit. In Mandvi there lived many wealthy people who traded diamonds, precious stones. It was also known for a shipbuilding industry that still uses traditional techniques. On the shore you see some wooden ships that are not finished yet. Then come back to Bhuj where you will visit two palaces side by side. Named after Rao Pragmalji II who commissioned the construction of Prag Mahal. It is designed in the Italian Gothic style. The palace building was affected because of the last big earthquake. Maharao Lakhpatji commissioned the palace in 1750. The museum is a royal showcase for Kutch jewelry, guns, and art. Eiana Mahal has a very good collection of antiques. Today visit Northern part and Southern part of Kutch villages. The villages are like open-air museums, where different families from different clans live and sell their goods. Today drive to Bajana, an eco-friendly village and overnight at Royal Safari Camp Bajana. It is located near the village of Dasada, a few minutes drive from the entrance of the Little Rann of Kutch ( Wild Donkey Resarvat ). You can relax and have lunch (Included today). Late afternoon drive to Kutch Wild Donkey Reserve. You will also see many species of birds. Lunch, dinner, breakfast and overnight at the hotel.

We then continue our journey to Modhera Sun Temple where we can admire the Sun Temple. It is one of the finest examples of 11th-century Indian temple architecture. Then we drive to Patan where we visit the 11th century Stepwell (Rani Ki Vav ). It is a rich and ornate monument erected by Queen (Udaymati) in memory of her husband (Bheema I).
