Peljesac is the second-largest Croatian peninsula, located less than an hour's drive from Dubrovnik. Some of the best red wines in Croatia are produced in Peljesac. Grapes from Peljesac vineyards get a huge amount of sugar because of triple insolation: the Sun, the sea, and the hills. Specific vineyard locations don't allow machines, so everything is hand-made.
