For a long time, the mineral water outlet area has been a popular place of pilgrimage for the local population. In 1892, a resort was organized on the basis of mineral springs.
Issyk - Ata Gorge houses a stone with the image of Buddha on it, displaying evidence that Buddhism existed in Kyrgyzstan centuries ago.
