You can climb to the 9th step of temple with temple tour guide who explain about history of Borobudur temple, or only just enjoy the Borobudur temple from the ground, because it have different price of entrance ticket to climb and only on temple ground. And to climb the temple, it's limited only 1.200 person everyday.

If you want, you can ask the temple tour guide to explain the history of the temple's construction and also the historical stories engraved on the temple wall reliefs, only you have to pay in addition to the tour fee to use this tour guide service. Besides the main temple, you can also see small Buddhist temple, it named Sewu Temple, which are very interesting because this Buddhist temple is in the same area with the Hindu temple.
