Sauna and fjord swimming is very popular in Oslo all year around. You will have 1.5 hours to relax in the sauna, enjoy the amazing views, and swim in the Oslo fjord. Make sure to bring a water bottle and two towels - one to sit on and one to dry yourself and change with. There is no shower in the winter (November - April) but the water in Tjuvholmen is the cleanest in Oslo, making it a great shower substitute. The changing area is quite small so we encourage you to get changed outside using your towel like the Norwegians do it! Please remember to never put salt water on the sauna oven, be kind and considerate to other sauna users, be safe, and do not drink more than 3 standard drinks during your visit.
