Enjoy a vacation in paradise near Sabah at the famous Mengalum Island, a place
far-flung from crowds and other islands. Visit a truly hidden gem boasting
powder-like white sand that slopes gently into stunning turquoise water.
Experience the shallow water splendors to the fullest with a snorkeling mask
and a pair of swimming fins! Immerse yourself into the amazing marine
ecosystem surrounding the island and meet colorful fish from up close.


Enjoy clear visibility that gives you a way to observe marine life from a new
perspective. Mengalum Island's surroundings are abundant in groupers,
snappers, mackerels, and other coral reef fish. Swim away the day next to the
famous clownfish, the magic butterflyfish, and the exotic cleaner fish. Admire
rare coral species such as staghorn corals, lettuce coral, and table corals.

    Head for Mengalum Island from the Sutera Marina Jetty (Alternatively change to Jesselton Point)

    Shades on, shirts off! Before having all the fun you can possibly imagine to have in the sun, a safety briefing will be conducted first and foremost

  • 10:00

    Snorkel around the best swimming spots in the region [2 snorkeling spots]

  • 12:00

    Go back to the Mengalum Island to rest. (Alternatively change to different base location on Mengalum island, subject to availability)

If you suffer from motion sickness, please take proper precautions in advance (i.e. medication)
The snorkeling equipment provided (mask and breathing tube) is only available in adult size. Children may bring their own equipment as smaller sizes are not available on-site
Please arrive on time at your hotel's lobby as the tour will depart on time. Refunds won't be granted in case of late arrival
