The Aberdare National Park is a protected area in the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya located east of the East African Rift Valley. It covers the higher areas and the Aberdare Salient to the east.

Itinerary

Arrival in Nairobi

    Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where our representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, transfer to your city hotel for check-in. After relaxation and lunch, head out for the Nairobi City Tour. Get to visit the giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum, Kobe Tough Beads & Leather, and a walking tour of the city center. Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional Game Meat Dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant

Animals to be seen include the Lion, Leopard, African elephant, African Hunting Dog, Giant Forest Hog, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Cape Buffalo, Suni, Side-Striped Jackal, Eland, Duikers Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus Monkey, and Sykes Monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo – an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Enjoy a sundowner in the evening after the game drive and later dinner and overnight at your lodge.
