Malta National Aquarium
Admission Ticket Included
The Malta National Aquarium has 52 tanks, including reptiles, insects, and amphibians, as well as Mediterranean fish, including fish that can often be found in Maltese waters, and historical artefacts that can be found in the seas around the Maltese islands.
The main tank inside the Aquarium measures 12 meters in diameter and contains a walk-through tunnel that allows visitors to see the fish much closer. A variety of Indo-pacific animals are housed here, including black tip sharks, zebra sharks, rays, and other exotic species.
An iconic curved shell structure resembling the shell of a starfish houses the Aquarium. The adjacent promenade provides pedestrians with additional recreation facilities, which include a children's play area.
