Danny with teddy bear was an amazing guide. He made the long drive super fun, really enjoyed learning about the history and random fun facts of NZ. The trip was great, pickup/dropoff was very convenient with clear instructions for location and time. The itinerary was well timed with good breaks and stops on the way there, with 30mins stop at Te Anau to pickup snacks and food from the town centre. Cruise (sovereign) was about 1.5 hrs, the speaker for the guide was only heard on the top floor. View was amazing, bathrooms were clean. Food was also available on deck for purchase, but quite pricey. Top deck was quite windy so pack warm clothes for it, but there was also plenty of indoor space with a great view in other decks.
The transport organisation was just great by high standard coach talking us to Milford Sound and back to near our Hotel. Very good commentary on the coach and while cruising for the 2 hours. We recorded great memories throughout the journey.
It was amazing! Our tour guide was very engaging and was sharing fun facts the entire trip. He also captured perfect pictures!! 10/10 would recommend .
RealNZ has a really cool tour bus with more windows/ natural light which made the long journey (total 8 hours of driving) very enjoyable. The driver/ guide was also very knowledgeable and provided lotsa information regarding the history of the towns, nature etc. There are a couple of stops on the way to Milford Sound with gorgeous views of the scenery. Milford Sound itself is a 2 hour cruise and the fiord itself is just breathtaking - we were blessed to see rainbow and some dolphins too!
Awesome trip well organised and comfortable bus ride to the location.
