THE TOUR Begin your adventure by meeting your guide and boarding a custom super jeep in Glacier Lagoon, where we’ll drive toward Breiðamerkurjökull, a glacial tongue of Vatnajökull. During the journey, your guide will share insights about Iceland’s glaciers, ice caves, volcanoes, and culture. Our tour explores 100% natural ice caves, which change constantly with the weather and seasons. The specific cave we visit depends on the day’s conditions, which may involve a short hike on the glacier. Expect to walk 3-4 km overall, so good health and walking comfort are essential. The tour will be a minimum of 3 hours, and a maximum of 4 hours (depending on which cave we visit). Before entering, you’ll receive a safety briefing and gear like helmets and crampons/micro spikes.
