Highlights

Enjoy hiking in the Andean mountains. Combeima Canyon is a prodigious ecosystem located in the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes. The canyon it is located 45 minutes from Ibague with a total length of 28 km on the rise, ranging from 1.283 m to 2.230 meters, which is carved by the Rio Combeima and serves as a gateway to Los Nevados Natural National. The low mountain path begins in the village of Juntas; the journey ascent lasts for three hours; first stop is up to the La Riviera farm heading to cross the canyon in a cable car to observed the canyon deepness and enjoy a delicious local meal. Afterward, hiking back another three hours in a path within the mountain range to return to Juntas Village. Transfer to the hotel around 16:00.

    In this magical journey, immerse yourself in the Combeima Canyon natural scenery. Hike along the river to experience the tropical forest, see playful birds and colorful Orchidees. Also, cross the deepness of the canyon from a cable car and taste various local snacks and fresh fruits from local farmers.
