Penyagolosa Natural Park is dominated by the peak that gives it its name, which with its 1,814 m is considered the top of the Valencian Community and a benchmark in Valencian hiking. With the height of 1814 meters above sea level it stands out above all the surrounding area and can easily be recognised from the beaches in Castellón area. On clear days it is possible to see hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coast - from Tarragona in the North all the way down to Denia in the South. The hike is 14 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of 600 meters and it usually takes about 5 hours to do the whole loop.Vistabella del Maestrazgo
