- Hazrat Khizr Mosque The first mosque of Samarkand where the first President of the Republic was buried.
- Shah-i-Zinda The complex consists of about 20 mausoleums. Most importantly, the only place in Central Asia where was buried a family relative person of the prophet.

The tour guide was almost 20 minutes late so was worried that I was in the wrong place or got the time wrong. I tried to call the local number provided but it wasn't in service. And then tried to contact Pelago and couldn't get through on chat because I was obviously traveling and my phone only had 3G. I didn't want to walk to a cafe to get WiFi and potentially miss the guide.
