  • Nourlangie Rock

    Here your Guide will take you on an interpretive, guided tour of the multi level art shelters of Nourlangie rock. You will hear the creation stories of these ancient artworks and see the stunning expansive views as we travel through the sites. Each art gallery tells a story, of the Cultural guardians and dangers, travels and interactions generations have encountered through the history of the region. We can stop and rest, as we spend time investigating each of the works.
  • Yellow Water Billabong Cruise

    The Yellow Water Billabong, is home to a wide array of plant and wildlife. As you cruise along this waterway, you will marvel at the rainbow of colours that reflect the sunlight mixed with the colours of the bloom below the surface. You will see birds like the Jacana and the black necked stork (Jabiru). Saltwater crocodiles lift their heads above water at different times of the year and if you are lucky, they will get close enough to the boat, for that iconic photo. You will see the beautiful array of colours from the Waterlily, as the Yellow Water Billabong is one of the best places to see the Waterlily displays in Kakadu. And you will be told cultural, geographical and historical stories of the land and peoples as you go.

    Bowali Visitor Centre, in Jabiru, tells visitors about the landscapes and wildlife of Kakadu. The Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, in Yellow Water, shares the vast and fascinating culture of the Bininj/Mungguy Traditional Owners.

    We will guide you through the well established nature walk, where the botanical and wildlife species are abundant. We will prepare and serve freshly prepared picnic lunch on location. In the afternoon we can spend time at each of the 3 adjoining swimming holes to dip and relax or swim amongst the lush green surrounds.
  • Darwin Waterfront

    Mid afternoon we make the transfer to Stokes hill wharf for your Darwin Harbour Cruise with fish and chips. Taking off from the busy harbour, we head away from the shore, over the lively waters, into the vastness of the Timor sea. Enjoying a refreshing cruise, with early evening views of the horizon we make a stop at the perfectly located sandbank, where we can stretch out legs and breathe in the night air, as we watch the spectacular sunset colours in our tropical skies. The cruise will return into the heart of Darwin waterfront precinct, where various nightlife options are available, or you can rejoin your Offroad Dreaming transport and return to your hotel.

  • Florence Falls

    Your first swimming stop of the day is Florence Falls. After a fifteen minute drive from leaving the termite mounds we will arrive at the Florence Falls car park, which is a short walk to the viewing platform, where you have a birds eye view of these full flowing twin waterfalls from above. A walk down the steps will take you to the water's edge, where you can dip your feet into the shallow rock pools or swim in the fresh waters of this deep swimming hole.
  • Magnetic Termite Mounds

    After a short drive into the park we arrive at the site of the Cathedral and Magnetic termite mounds. Here you will be given a light snack and another opportunity to fill up your water bottle. We will take you on a guided walk through these magnificent structures, where you will hear all about their role in our tropical ecosystem.
  • Buley Rockhole

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    After Florence falls, we take the short drive over to Buley Rockhole. For those who prefer, there is a moderate, approximate 25 minute bushwalking trail between the two falls, that will take you there avoiding the drive and the steps back up to the top. Buley Rockhole is a multi level formation of cascading waterfalls and springs. Each pocket of water feeds into its own shallow or deep water hole. There is time here to explore the multiple spots, or find your favourite to swim and relax. Rocks can be slippery when wet, so you will need to take care while walking around. While you are swimming, your Guide will prepare a fresh buffet style picnic lunch at one of the picnic tables on location.
  • Wangi Falls

    After lunch we will make the 30 minute drive around to Wangi Falls. Wangi Falls is a vast, deep, serenic waterhole, fed by two majestic waterfalls that flow down the impressive cliff face. This is a very significant cultural location, which we have the privilege to enjoy. You can take your time here to really enjoy your swim, or you can laze on the grassy surrounds and soak up the atmosphere.
  • Adelaide River

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    Mid afternoon we will drive over to the Adelaide River, for your late afternoon, private group, crocodile cruise. The Adelaide river has the most concentrated population of crocodile in the Top End and our skipper has one of the managed licences to travel through the natural habitat of these magnificent creatures. The custom made boat will take you up close to where the crocodiles are and as the skipper tells you all about their habits and survival skills, you will have multiple iconic photo opportunities.
