This holiday season, S.E.A. Aquarium take guests on A Merry Reef Adventure – an immersive journey that celebrates both the allure of Christmas and the wonders of marine biodiversity, promising a memorable holiday experience for all. Featuring a series of interactive and informative activities, alongside a special collaboration with Josef Lee, renowned local illustrator and storyteller, the aquarium will transform into a festive underwater Christmas playground.

 

From 29 November 2024 to 2 January 2025, visitors will be treated to a unique opportunity to learn more about the vibrant ecosystems of coral reefs through compelling visuals, educational content, and interactive experiences.


Explore the mysteries and wonders of the deep blue with a trip to the underwater world of S.E.A. Aquarium. This massive oceanarium consists of ten zones replicated to resemble ocean habitats home to fascinating marine life like the manta ray and vibrant coral reefs.


Some zones include the Andaman Sea, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea, South China Sea, Strait of Karimata, Java Sea, Bay of Bengal, Laccadive Sea, East African lakes, and the Open Ocean Gallery.


Each zone hosts a scintillating array of marine animals and interactive programmes. See endangered species and have up-close animal encounters with unique sea creatures like hammerhead sharks, giant moray eels, reef manta rays, groupers, sea jellies, giant crabs, and other animals.


Some of the S.E.A. Aquarium's interactive exhibits include the Shipwreck Habitat, which simulates marine habitats with species like the bowmouth guitarfish, and the Native Species exhibit, which features local marine life. The Coral Garden, housing 5,000 fish with vibrant artificial corals, and the visually stunning Sea Jellies Gallery, with its special lighting for sea jellies, are highlights. Don't forget to check out the Shark Seas habitat, home to the endangered scalloped hammerhead shark, sandbar sharks, and silvertip sharks.
