The first of the two ceremonies on this journey is Melukat, an old purification ritual held down in a jungle river with a local priest. Sarongs, flower offerings and fragrant incense sticks are prepared. For this ritual please wear shorts or swimwear under the sarong as you will be dipped into the fresh water of the river. After the Melukat ritual, you will be dressed in Balinese temple clothing for the Blessings ceremony inside the temple of Sri Rambut Sedana. Before you enter the temple, you will be teach to make an offering basket out of coconut leaf. Just after sunset, in the magical atmosphere of the twilight, you will be led to the most upper level of this temple. He will pray to the gods for your wellbeing, prosperity and happiness.
