Visit Sainte-Chapelle, a significant architecture built for religious and political purposes in France, where Christ's Crown of Thorns was also housed. Consecrated on 26 April 1248 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the chapel stands in the heart of Palais de la Cité. See the ceremonial staircase, towering ceilings, and observe the glass windows that show 1,113 scenes from the Bible's Old and New Testaments, telling the story of the world until the arrival of the relics in Paris.
Beautiful chapel. Well worth the visit. Mind all the steps.
Floor to ceiling stain glass. Awesome.
Wonderful.
efficient
Beautiful chapel with amazing stained glass work which my camera could not do justice to. Entry was through a regular line even though there was a separate section for skip the line tickets. Staff was not bothered even when it was pointed out.
Still had to queue for 45 mins
