Their work has been acknowledged with great achievements such as their Clos Apalta, recognized in more than two occasions as the Chile´s best icon wine, and its 2004 vine stock as the "best in the world according to WineSpectator (2008)", and 5th place among 16,000 wines for their 2014 strain in the 2017 list... surely a must experience. After wine tasting in a spectacular underground winery in Viña Lapostolle, we will head to Montes Winery, owned by the so-called "Mr. Chilean Wine”, Aurelio Montes. This spectacular and imposing winery is located in a beautiful territory which you can explore in an ingenious guided tour on the slopes of the hills that surround this exclusive sub-valley called Apalta. While in Montes Winery, you can´t miss the opportunity to have lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, lead by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mellman, an expert hand on meats, finishing off this entire wine experience that you will surely remember forever.
