While strolling around Zurich's Old Town we will focus on Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz which is Zurich's main downtown street and one of the world's most expensive and exclusive shopping avenue; Limmatquai - a vibrant, historical shopping, dining and hotel area with many interesting buildings dating from the days of the rich Guilds that governed Zurich until 1789; Lindenhof and Roman Baths - the historical site of a Roman castle situated on a hillside, from where you can get great view of Old Town; St. Peter Church - one of the four main churches in Zurich whose clock face is the largest in all of Europe; Fraumünster (Church of Our Lady) - to admire and learn about the world-famous Chagall Windows, created by famous artist Marc Chagall. After the city walking tour, we will continue with a journey to the local little mountain Uetliberg or Felsenegg to experience a short aerial cable car ride and to enjoy breathtaking views. This is a popular recreational area for the locals living in and around Zurich and offers incredible views overlooking Zurich, the lake and the snow-capped Alps. We will experience a short hike on a special trail called "Planetweg" which represents our solar system on a reduced scale and will enjoy the fresh air of the beautiful forest before heading back to Zurich by boat.
