Head out to Sri Maha Mariamman, a beautiful Hindu temple that's the oldest in Penang. This is a typical south Indian style temple covered with carvings of gods and goddesses which are colorfully painted
Proceed to Pinang Peranakan Mansion. Get ready to know and experience what it feels like being the richest Malaysian way back then. The mansion is full of old world charms and collections. Strike your best pose for the photos, and don't forget to pass by the gift shop on the way out!
Your next walk will be to St. George Church. A lovely sea breeze wafts through the church would keep you cool. Old photos including one when the church was bombed is placed in one tiny heritage house right next to the church
Head to Penang Museum, where you'll learn all about the different peoples who came to Penang and still live there. There are also interesting artifacts from each culture and some insight into the time of the British Empire and World War II
Next is Fort Cornwallis, an example of British Colonial architecture of the period. It is near the seaside and has some good views and sunset scene reyif you visit here late in the evening
