As the sun sinks into the horizon, explore Singapore’s lush mangroves to meet the fascinating nocturnal wildlife living in these tropical wetlands. It is nature’s game of hide-and-seek when all goes dark in the mangrove.
Listen for the strange calls of the local owls, nightjars and herons. Smell the musky scents of a civet cat lurking in the shadows and observe the slithering reptiles that hunt at night. If you look closely, you’ll even spot special crabs that can climb trees.
Prepare to be surprised and amazed without getting muddy! This unique nocturnal experience is wheelchair-accessible and suitable for everyone from kids and grandparents to groups of friends and nature seekers. You’ll be guided by a Singapore Tourism Board-licensed nature guide.
My son and I did the Nighttime Wildlife Walk with Karen and it was the highlight of our Singapore trip. We spotted owls, bats, monitors, geckos, mud skippers and two types of snake. Incredible! The experience was made even better by Karen’s informative insights and wonderful enthusiasm. A must-do in Singapore for nature lovers.
We really appreciated the night walk with such a passionate and we'll versed guide like Karen. It was great to get a new perspective into this part of Singapore with all it's small and big wildlife. Can very much recommend!
This was the first wild life adventure that we had outside Thailand and it was a super great experience! We are a family of 3, my son is 7 years old and has a great passion in nature. Karen was our guide and very knowledgeable. She could answer every thing that my son asked!!! She provided lots of information, not too detailed with those scientific words. My son enjoyed listening and talking with her, not feeling bored at all during the whole trip. The adventure started in the park, then we got inside the mangrove. It was dark and a little spooky at the first time. But once you started seeing lots of creature you will forgot those scary feeling. So make sure you bring a torch! The distance is not too far or too short, safe for kids.
