Come and taste 4 fabulous Spanish wines in some of the most exclusive wine bars in the Retiro neighborhood of Madrid. Hosted by me, Cristina, a bubbly Los Angeles native that has been living in Madrid for 20+ years. I have been a wine enthusiast for all of my time here in Spain and I am a WSET trained wine sommelier.


We start off at the wine bar Arzábal right in front of Madrid's emblematic Retiro Park. We then proceed to two more wine bars to continue tasting Spanish wines accompanied by Spanish tapas. If you would like to learn about Spain’s wines, wine regions, and winemaking traditions, this is the experience for you!


As a former teacher I have the skills and ability to explain and show all of my guests on my experiences all about the different kinds of wine, grapes, winemaking styles, wine regions, and wine myths in a comprehensive and concise manner where everybody walks away having learned and enjoyed themselves.

    Here we will taste our first two sparkling wines accompanied by Spanish tapas. This wine bar specializes in sparkling wine and high quality Spanish tapas. Here I will give you an introduction to Spanish wine and explain the first two wines.

    Our next stop is at Taberna Ilustrada el Capricho. Here we will taste our next two Sparkling wines accopanied by Spanish Tapas is this very "Castizo" Spanish tavern.

    Our final stop is El Fogon de Varoja. here we will have our last Sparkling wine accompanied by a Spanish tapa.
