The museum also contains the world's oldest claddagh a ring and a rather strange artefact created by the probable orginator of the Claddgh ring.River Corrib

Here we can take in the glorious views of the long walk and here some of the superstitions and traditions of the people of the Claddagh. Red doors, thatched roof and possibly the King's cat hanging around...it's perfect! It may be a re-creation but it makes it much easier to imagine the scene some 100 years ago or more.
