Venture into the local Mangwon market on a guided tour and sample Seoul's most popular street food and gather ingredients for the cooking class. Experience authentic Korean culture and its rich colours, unique flavours and smells in an intimate cooking class hosted in a local home. You'll prepare a 4-course meal entirely from scratch, under guidance from a dakgalbi chef with over seven years of restaurant experience, and even pick up some Korean lingo along the way!
Learn to cook bibimbap (mixed rice with meat and veggies), dakgalbi (stir-fried chicken), haemul-pajeon (seafood pancake) or sanjeok (skewered pancakes), and doenjang-jjigae (soybean stew).
Hanjeongsik is a traditional Korean meal with more than ten side dishes, or banchan. Enjoy complimentary banchan, dessert and drinks. With bellies filled, try on a traditional mask, Tal, for a fun photo opportunity.

Had the BEST evening learning how to make a korean meal from Junghee. She is such a fun host with heaps of interesting anecdotes as she brought us through the markets. Almost can't believe I made such delicious food :D was STUFFED by the end of the night. Thank you again for an amazing experience :]
We totally had a blast, was not expecting much as is one of our first few cooking class, Jung Hee is very knowledgeable in the ingredients and very attentive to every one in class especially with special needs. Would recommend this class to everyone who is visiting Korea, wanted to know and learn how to cook local cuisine!
The experience was amazing! Junghee was so interactive and shared with us many amazing stories while taking us through the market! We then cooked the most delicious meal i have ever tasted with the fresh ingredients we purchased. i would highly recommend Jung Hee's cooking tour, it was really one of the highlights of the trip, as well as a really indepth insight to the local culture and life :)
It was a really precious experience to take this cooking class. Junghee helps you not only to be able to cook Korean food but to create an unforgettable memories. She is very friendly and interesting person. At first we had a nice walk around the market and then were welcomed in Junghee's house! The whole cooking process was followed by the exciting talk. And the food which we prepared at the end is the most delicious Korean food which I have ever eaten! And now I even can cook it!!! I am highly recommend not to miss the chance to be Junghee's guest :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!
