A Guided Hike in Search of Traditional Tyrolian Cuisine

A wonderful, easy, guided hike for everyone who would love to have a fine balance between physical activity and appreciation of great food! We will start the day by meeting at Congress Innsbruck from where we are going to take a funicular to Hungerburg. From there we will start a hiking path to Umbruggler alm - a rather modern mountain hut which provides a mixture of a traditional and contemporary kitchen. From there we will continue to Arzler alm - one of the favourite local huts around Innsbruck, due to its delicious food, beautiful views and easy accessibility. After enjoying a coffee, cake or a that cold beer, we will head back and follow the path down to Hungerburg from where we will take the funicular back down to Innsbruck. A quick tip - its important to always bring some cash with you when visiting Austrian huts.
