Step 1: Make a lesson inquiry/book the package
- Reserve your accommodation and flight, venture to Okinawa for your diving
course and open water diving experienceStep 2: Lesson preparations
- Get OWD-elated learning materials beforehand, obtain a more basic
understanding of diving before practical practices.
*E-Learning online system is available in multiple languages, which a very good learning material for review at home
- Step 3: Learn the theory
- Pick up some theory-based knowledge which is important to your safety when
diving
*Travelers who have already completed this step before visiting Okinawa may opt for a review class instead
- Step 4: Swimming pool practice
- Watch your instructor demonstrate the basic skills required for diving,
including the sign language system served as a means of communication under
the water. After that, head to the swimming pool for some practical practices
from using your diving equipment to maintaining neutral buoyancy
There will be shower rooms, lockers, and dressing rooms available on-site
It is very likely that you will be required to do your practice in shallow water at the beach
Step 5: Ocean Practice
- Head to the ocean for your first open water diving experience. Perform your
skills under the supervision of the diving coach. Get physically and mentally
ready for a memorable exploration in the underwater world!Step 6: Additional Course

Itinerary
If you arrive in Okinawa in the morning, the tour staff will pick you up at the airport and begin the theory-based course in the afternoon
If you arrive in Okinawa in the afternoon, the course will start on the following morning

- Eligibility: Travelers aged 10 and over in good health with or without swimming skills (teenagers aged 10 - 14 are eligible for the OWD course)
- Necessary Document: Medical Statement (if you have conditions that match the ones in the form, please have your doctor sign the form), please complete the form beforehand and turn it in on the day of the tour
- If you book the eLearning package, you will receive a data sheet. Please go to PADI's official website and make a purchase with your credit card. The fee is charged in AUD and you do not need to make additional payments in Okinawa
- There are 4 dives in total. The first 2 dives are shore diving and the third and fourth dive are boat diving
- This product only includes shore diving. If you would like to experience boat diving, please pay the fee on the day of the tour
- This product does not include fees for boat diving and certificate application, please consider before booking
