Sunway Lagoon's best rides

Sunway Lagoon Amusement Park, one of the most famous theme parks in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has tons of fun, breathtaking rides and attractions for thrill-seekers. Let’s take a look at the best Sunway Lagoon rides.

Thrilling Sunway Lagoon rides

Pirate’s Revenge is one of the most beloved Sunway Lagoon rides. This 360-degree rotating pirate ship is not for the faint of heart, as you will be rotated all the way from the ground until you’re upside down!

Then, hop on one of the best Sunway Lagoon roller coaster ride at Lost City of Gold Scream Coaster. Put your hands up and scream at the top of your lungs!

Overcome your fear of heights at the 60-feet-high Pedestrian Suspension Bridge, the Malaysia Book of Records Holder for the longest bridge in the world. You also get to enjoy a panoramic view of the park while walking towards the other side of the bridge (it’s 438 meters long, so it takes a while).

Exciting Sunway Lagoon rides list

Sunway Lagoon’s Water Park is a must-stop for adrenaline junkies. The park is home to the World’s Largest Vortex Ride, Vuvuzela, a water slide where guests can plunge through turbulent water from 11-storeys-high; so you’ll feel as though you’re flowing into a vortex.

One of the coolest things to do at Sunway is to hit up the Surf Beach, the World’s Largest Surf Pool, for thrill-seekers to try surfing or bodyboarding — with waves that can get eight-feet high.

The fun does not stop here, as the African Pythons slide and the Congo Challenge (where you can jump down the slide and race with your friends) promise more excitement. Don’t forget the Cameroon Climb; this U-shaped slide drops 15 metres then shoots you 8 metres back up!

Sunway Lagoon Night Park

Say howdy to Sunway Lagoon Night Park’s latest theme: The Good, The Bad, And The Wild, for a one-of-a-kind experience after dark. Snap as many pictures as you want or enjoy the fire-breathing performance and other exciting shows at the stages.

X Park Sunway Lagoon rides

Finally, if you’re the ultimate thrill-seeker and extreme sports enthusiast, check out X Park Sunway Lagoon. With attractions like Go Kart, Flying Fox, and Bungy Trampoline, these will certainly give you an adrenaline rush.

Dive into the air and free fall with Malaysia’s first Bungee Jump, Bungy Jump. Then, complete your thrilling journey by taking a ride at G-Force X, Asia’s highest slingshot ride; this exciting ride will pump you to go from zero to 120 km/h — in just two seconds!

Other parks at Sunway Lagoon

Sunway Lagoon rides aren’t the only spectacle to enjoy. These other parks are sure to give you a great experience as well.

Meet the white lions all the way from Africa’s Timbavati and southern Kruger Park regions, or say hello to the exotic blue-eyed white tigers at the Wildlife Park, one of the must-see Sunway Lagoon attractions. This spot is also home to more than 150 species of animals from all over the world.

Look no further to Scream Park‘s Nights of Frights for a heart-racing and adrenaline-pumping journey. This is Malaysia’s biggest and scariest festival of fear haunts, and will only be available in October, aka the Halloween season. Another attraction here is Sharknado Alive!, where guests will go on a 15-minute studio tour that features shark scenes from the Sharknado movies.

All that’s left to do is to book a hotel nearby and get ready for a fun weekend at Sunway Lagoon! For more information on Sunway Lagoon ticket prices, here's a handy guide for you.
