Embark on an exclusive tour from Paris to the popular Palace of Versailles and skip the long lines. Explore the King's apartments, adorned with seven rooms decorated in the theme of the gods. Step into the Queen's quarters, symmetrically arranged to complement those of the King. Visit the Coronation room, once occupied by Marie Antoinette. Don't miss the spectacular Hall of Mirrors, designed by the famous architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Originally created to dazzle the visitors of King Louis XIV, it's illuminated by seventeen windows and 350 mirrors. The tour also includes a leisurely walk around the splendid gardens of the Palace.

Pelago booking site stated tour guide with English explanation. However, I was put with a Spanish guide despite informing the tour operator I needed English explanations. On the way there, all that was spoken by the guide was in Spanish. The tour says 5 hours and starts at 11am. However, we were required to meet up 20 mins before at 10.40am. After waiting plus bus ride to Varsalles and waiting. We only got into the Palace at about 1230pm. Fortunately, at about 1245pm, there was a group with English guide walked passed (which is lucky for us) and we followed this group. By about 2.40pm we need to get to the bus park for the bus back to Paris. We reached Paris at about 3.30pm The palace is big and garden is big. However while the tour advertised as 5 hours, in actual fact, only about 2 hours is included in Versalles Palace and Vincinity. There is not enough time and definitely no time to spend to queue up to buy food. This is a lousy tour with bad experience. It is neither 5 hours (including bus ride and waiting time from 11am to 3.30pm) nor in English. No time for lunch break due to very short time available in the vast palace and garden. I suggest to give this a miss.
