- Itinerary Introduction -
The Mae Ping River originates in the mountains of northern Chiang Mai, flows
through the city of Chiang Mai, and finally merges into the sea from Bangkok.
First go to Wat Chai Mongkoi, which was built more than 600 years ago. It is
one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai. It has a wide variety of cultures
such as Burmese stupas and Guanyin halls. The distance is far away and it
seems to be much quieter. Most of them are worshippers from the local area.
You can avoid the crowds of tourists, experience the Thai culture here, and
pray for wishes. On the way, follow the tour guide to visit the home of the
local farmers, understand the local people's life style, and enjoy delicious
Khao Soi at the farmhouse. It consists of egg noodles and chicken curry soup.
, Coupled with egg noodles with soup, is one of the most distinctive flavor
snacks in Chiang Mai.
