From
Capes Raptor Centre offers a unique opportunity to experience the majesty of
birds of prey. During twice-daily encounters, you can watch hawks and owls up
close while learning about their hunting techniques and natural behaviours.
The centre is a leading rehabilitation facility in Western Australia,
providing care for injured birds of prey. Home to over 40 raptors, including
those that can no longer return to the wild, the centre also successfully
rehabilitates and releases many birds each year.
After your encounter, take a peaceful 1km walk through the native bushland,
where aviaries house diurnal and nocturnal raptors in a natural setting.
**Please note, Bird of Prey Encounters run on schedule at 11am and 2pm, and
the forest walk can be completed before or after the encounter. The centre is
open daily from 10am to 4pm. **
