Venture deep into Lake Cave, one of Western Australia's most stunning
limestone formations. Visitors begin their journey by descending into a lush,
sunken forest through a natural sinkhole. The calm waters of the lake
perfectly reflect intricate crystal formations, including the extraordinary
'Suspended Table,' a unique feature seemingly suspended above the water’s
surface.
Lake Cave is the only cave in the region with a permanent lake, making it a
rare natural wonder. Visitors can also explore the interpretive centre,
offering insights into the cave’s geological history.
Guided tours last one hour.
Children 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult, and a minimum of
two adults is required for each tour to proceed.
Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for climbing stairs, as this activity
requires a moderate level of fitness. If at any time you feel this activity is
beyond your comfort level, our friendly staff can assist in arranging a visit
to Mammoth Cave, the most accessible cave in the region.
We recommend bringing hats and sunscreen in summer, and waterproof jackets in
winter.
Photography is permitted, but please note that tripods, camera stands, and
selfie-sticks are not allowed. Backpack baby carriers, strollers, prams, and
umbrellas are also not permitted for safety reasons.
Please arrive at the ticket counter 10 minutes before your tour. During busy
holiday periods, your place may be reallocated if you have not checked in 5
minutes before the tour’s departure.
We hope you enjoy your experience!
