Must Know
- Entering your name as per your passport, date of birth, and email ID is a must to issue the Eurail Mobile passes.
- It is mandatory to have a mobile with an internet connection to download the pass while travelling.
- It is mandatory to carry your passport while travelling.
- After booking, an email confirmation number is sent to you which is the Eurail pass confirmation number (not the Pelago confirmation), then follow the instructions to load the mobile pass on the Rail Planner App.
- ou can board most of the trains by showing the pass, however, there are a few exceptions where a reservation is needed before you board.
- High-speed and premier trains require compulsory reservations; check before boarding the train.

- The pass is exclusively available to non-European residents.
- You must activate your pass on the Rail Planner app before taking your first train.
- The pass is valid across the national rail networks of the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Wales.
- Most high-speed and night trains require a reservation at an additional cost. Check for any specific seat reservation requirements prior to your travel.
- First class passes are valid in both first and second class coaches. Second class passes are only valid in second class coaches.
