Rafting the Pacuare River, ranked as one of the best rivers in the world, is an incredible day trip in Costa Rica. You will raft through an incredible rainforest in 30 km of Class III-IV whitewater. Waterfalls, lush forests, exotic plants, birds and other animals, the exciting rapids make this a tropical adventure full of rich experiences. We will transport you from your hotel in the San Jose area to the river where, we will make a stop on the way where you will enjoy a delicious and traditional Costa Rican breakfast. After breakfast and changing to the rafting equipment, we will head along the banks of the Pacuare River to the place from where we will begin our adventure. Here, our professional and certified rafting guides will equip you with all the necessary equipment, give you a comprehensive talk on rafting safety, and instruct you on the basics of rowing. Then you and your group will put your raft into the river and begin paddling deep into the heart of one of the most impressive primary rainforests in Costa Rica.
