Highlights

From the almost unreal shades of blue coloring the waters of the Setō Inland Sea to forested peaks burning with the colors of the fall which conceal the agricultural heart of the island, to the dramatic rush of rivers and gorges carved by time, and even to the still silence of halls housing some of the most transformative art experiences around, these journeys will certainly delight anyone who dares to take a step off of the beaten path.
