The Palm Monorail Stations
The Palm Monorail connects key landmarks of the Palm Jumeirah beginning from the Gateway Station at the entry of the Palm Jumeirah, to Golden Mile Galleria, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall and Atlantis Aquaventure station at the final stop of the journey.
Originally inaugurated in 2009, the 5.5 km monorail line is the only public transportation system on Palm Jumeirah for residents, visitors and tourists, and it is one of the most iconic ways to explore all its destinations, with a low impact on the surrounding environment.
1: Palm Gateway
• The Palm Gateway station is the first stop and has over 1,600 parking spots so you can park at the tip of the Palm Jumeirah and take the monorail for the day. Enjoy a spectacular vantage point from the station as you enter Palm Jumeirah. You can also access the Palm Gateway station from the Dubai Tram.

• This station was opened on 3rd July 2017. Al Ittihad Park is a fascinating attraction that is home to a variety of the country’s unique plant life. In addition to being the perfect place for a relaxing outing, the park is also a favourite spot among Dubai’s running community as it offers a 3.2km running track and pop up stationary work-out stations.

Not just a useful mode of transport, but also a good sightseeing tool. Especially the view from the front/rear of the driverless monorail car is nice! Frequency of every 15 minutes means quite a wait however. I found the unlimited pass useful to shuttle around, and also take photos/videos.
