Private walking day tour is the best way for you to visit Tianjin, a city with 13 million population, the second largest city closed to Beijing, for the first time.
You will learn its history, see its city landscape, visit popular attractions, shop at a local market, and taste famous local snacks and have lunch in a nice popular restaurant during this 6-hour tour within a walking distance of around 3.7 miles (6 km).

Itinerary
In the morning, enjoy a complimentary pickup from the lobby of your downtown Tianjin hotel, Beijing (Tianjin) Cruise Port, or Tianjin Main Railway Station or Tianjin airport at 8:45am. (P.S If you need a pickup from Beijing (Tianjin)Cruise Port, you will be provided a combination transfer of air-conditioned private minibus and bullet train)
Then, head to your first stop of the day, Tianjin Eye, which is a famous Ferris wheel built on a bridge over Haihe river. The location of Tianjin Eye is at the most beautiful area of Tianjin with a lively local morning market. You will have 1 hour to enjoy beautiful views, wander around local streets, or just hang out at the interesting local market before you continue on to Ancient Cultural Street, a must-see attraction in Tianjin.There is the Temple of the Queen of Heaven dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. As well as visit the temple(if you want), you will have 1 hour to explore this colorful street and browse through souvenir shops selling Chinese calligraphy, paintings, vases, tea pots, and traditional dresses...etc.
At noon, you will stop at Nanshi Snack Market which is a traditional Chinese cuisine food court where you could find a variety of incredibly interesting and delicious local comfort food/snack and taste 3 types of them for free. Then you will have Chinese lunch in a nice local restaurant with Chinese beer and soft drinks.
After tasting delicious local snacks and lunch, you will return to Haihe riverside for a relaxing leisure walk and take in the scenery of Tianjin architecture and many uniquely designed bridges. Around 1:45pm, you will arrive at Tianjin Haihe Cultural Square (Jiefang North Road) or Five Great Avenues (Wu Da Dao)that used to be the financial center from 1900 to 1940 where western businessmen, Chinese officials, and diplomats who helped shaped modern Tianjin and China built their houses and commercial premises. You will see well over 200 buildings with architectural style from all over Europe including: British, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Chinese royal family members, American President Robert Hoover, etc...were the original residences.Among them, Machang Avenue is the widest and longest as well as being the oldest.
Your Tianjin private walking day tour will end here at approximately 4pm.
