At the beginning of the 21st century, this avant-garde Tablao, "Las Carboneras", located in the most traditional area of the city, El Madrid de los Austrias, burst onto the flamenco scene in Madrid. Some founding members (international flamenco artists) presented -from the first day until today- an authentic, professional, artistic proposal with feeling and, above all, with a lot of duende. The other partner, a hospitality professional, has captured all his knowledge and flavor in a menu that is a review and proposal of traditional Spanish cuisine, which preserves the flavor of yesteryear. On its walls, there are always exhibitions of plastic artists as well as photography and, sometimes, flamenco clothing or classical guitars. Every night you can live a unique and unrepeatable show with 7 artists on stage while enjoying a tapa and drink. All the artists are leading figures in baile, toque or cante.
