・Barasu Island, the "Miracle Island" Barasu Island is a small island formed by
a rise in the white sand (barasu) of coral. The waters around Barasu Island
are called "Sekisei Lagoon" and are home to some of the largest and most
beautiful coral reefs in Japan, and are also designated as a national park.
This uninhabited island floats alone on the blue ocean, with only pure white
sand and emerald blue water. The water is highly transparent and the coral is
beautiful, making it perfect for snorkeling.
