Started as a humble street stall in 1895, Du Hsiao Yueh has now expanded into multiple branches and has become one of the most popular restaurants in Taiwan. This restaurant is specially known for the Dan Zai noodles: a traditional Taiwanese dish made with a classic recipe that dates back over 100 years. It was recognised as one of Asia's best restaurants in 2013 by The Daily Meal, and selected by CNN as one of the staple Taiwanese dishes to try.
The food was excellent and booking through Pelago saves us time from having to queue. The servings were a little too fast though, but overall a great dinner experience.
