Discover the Talaiotic settlement of Torre d'en Galmés, perched atop a hill, exerting control over its surrounding territory. Step back in time to explore the well-preserved remnants of this Iron Age civilization. Uncover three talayots, numerous circular houses, a water collection system, burial caves, and a taula enclosure. This enclosure is where a small bronze statuette representing the Egyptian god Imhotep was unearthed. Occupied from 2000 BC until the medieval Christian conquest of 1287, this site once housed a population of about 900 people. The Torre d'en Galmés Interpretation Centre offers valuable resources to interpret the remains, comprehend the historical significance, and marvel at the uniqueness of this remarkable archaeological site.
