The waterfall drops down from old sea cliffs some breathtaking 60 meters having views of Eyjafjallajökull volcano in the background on a good day. The power from the water along with the height of the cliffs around leaves you without words. The waterfall can be visited at two levels. At ground level, you can approach the water as close as you feel like and really feel the power of nature. Keep in mind the elements will take you with open arms and make you wet if you are not equipped with waterproof layers. There is also another path leading to a platform above the waterfall which gives you a view of the waterfall from a different angle. On a good day, the view of the surrounding landscape is not to miss, if you are ready to take on the climb of a few hundred steep steps.Solheimajokull Glacier
